English: Thank you for calling RBI to know more about MANI i.e. Mobile Aided Note Identifier App. The app can be downloaded for free from Android Play Store and iOS App Store. After installation, the mobile application does not require internet and works in offline mode. The app can be used by pointing the smartphone camera towards the currency note and the denomination is announced in Hindi or English and can be communicated through vibrations also. This mobile application however does not check or authenticate the genuineness of Indian Banknotes and hence user discretion is advised.
Hindi: मनी (MANI) अर्थात मोबाइल एडेड नोट आइडेंटिफायर एप्लिकेशन के बारे में जानने के लिए आरबीआई में कॉल करने के लिए धन्यवाद. इस एप्प को एंड्रॉइड प्ले स्टोअर और आईओएस एप्प स्टोअर से मुफ़्त में डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है. मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन इंस्टॉल करने के बाद इंटरनेट की आवश्यकता नहीं है, क्यूंकि यह ऑफलाइन मोड़ में काम करता है. एप्लिकेशन का उपयोग मुद्रा नोट की ओर स्मार्टफोन के कैमरे को इंगित कर के किया जा सकता है. जिसके बाद मूल्यवर्ग की घोषणा हिंदी या अंग्रेजी में की जाती है और कम्पन के माध्यम से भी इसे व्यक्त किया जा सकता है. हालांकि यह मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन भारतीय बैंक नोटों के वास्तविकता की जाँच या प्रमाणीकरण नहीं करता है. अतः उपयोगकर्ता से विवेक अपेक्षित है.
